MSW Security Solutions to Sponsor Upstate Chili Cook-off

ANDERSON COUNTY - MSW Security Solutions Inc. will be the Presenting Sponsor for the second annual Upstate Chili Cook-off in downtown Belton on April 16.

MSW Security was established in 2004 by David Cobb, a lifelong resident of Anderson County with years of experience in contracting and electrical engineering. As the owner of MSW Electrical Contracting, which Cobb launched in 2000, he continually encountered customers who asked for his guidance in protecting their homes and businesses from fire, break-ins, and phone line disruptions. After several years of trying to meet his customers' needs on a part-time basis, Cobb finally created MSW Security as a separate company so that he could devote a full-time staff to delivering the level of service he felt his customers deserved. Today, MSW Security Solutions is a thriving home security and premises monitoring company that provides daily peace of mind to thousands. The company's team of licensed, trained professionals provides intrusion prevention, burglar detection, fire alarms, and medical emergency notification for industrial facilities, small businesses, and homes throughout the Upstate. Special discounts are given to families of veterans and emergency responders. David Cobb took note last year when organizers brought the Cook-off to Belton. "I thought it was a great event, a perfect fit for downtown, and a fun, wholesome way to bring attention and revenue into our area." Already a big supporter of the Belton Center for the Arts, one of the three nonprofit beneficiaries of the Upstate Chili Cook-off, Cobb knew immediately he wanted to help the cause. "I was first in line this year to let Jim Bright know I wanted MSW Security to be the presenting sponsor, and we are working hard to make this year's event bigger and even better than last year's," he said.

MSW will have a booth at the Upstate Chili Cook-off with statistics and information about protecting your home or office. "Making sure our friends and neighbors are safe is so important to us," said MSW Security office manager Kim Spence.
